The Death of Socrates

The origin of the story could be found in Plat. Theag. on page 128d. As he sits up strong he is pointing up showing a soft touch of dedication. He reaches out for the hemlock as his loved ones around him weeping to his last sentence. In the content of the story this is him magnanimous up his life for something that he believes in and not let other people move in his decisions on what his beliefs will be. He is to rather die with overcharge than live a rickety life.
